The shower in our room has no curtain or walls. It's just right there with a sloping floor. At first, we weren't too sure about that, but it actually works great. European efficiency:

Our room at the Belfast International Youth Hostel is modest but nice. We have a double bed and our own bathroom this first night, and a great view of the city from it. Someone hung a large Incredible Hulk doll from the street light near our room so it feels like he is watching over us and protecting us.
